Brockdish Village Hall - Room for All
Brockdish Village Hall comprises of the Main Hall 15.9 metres (52’ 2”) long by 8.3 metres (27’ 3”) wide, there is a further raised stage area measuring 4.2 metres deep (13’9”) plus Apron by 4.7 metres wide (15’4”) accessed via two pairs of steps at each side. Folding doors at the rear of the stage can be closed if access is required to either side without disturbing the main stage area. The hall will easily seat 100 people. There are tables are chairs stored either side of the stage.
From the entrance foyer doors lead to both the main hall and Galley Style Kitchen measuring 5.7 metres (18’8”) by 2.5 metres (8’2”), which has two serving hatches opening into the main hall and a further door to the back lobby which gives access back to the main hall and to the Ladies, Gents and Disabled Toilets. The kitchen is fully equipped with glasses, crockery and cutlery, fridge and electric double oven.
A further door from the back lobby leads into another entrance hall with an entrance door to the outside and stairs leading up to the First Floor Meeting Room, which can comfortably seat 10 to 15 people.
All the rooms are centrally heated by radiators, powered by a gas fired boiler which also provides hot water.
